Shooting with a fish-eye lens is a must and you need to get close to the action to fill the photo frame. Part of getting close is getting hit, that’s just part of it. After Street Scott shot his board into my lens, he told me to back up, thanks.
It was a miracle that my lens and camera were still intact. I have a saying, “If you’re not getting hit, you’re probably not close enough.”
